July 5, 2007 Sandia Labyrinth Story

As promised, I've put together a brief overview of the majority of the Labyrinth Project. There are still a couple of other photo series that I may end up putting together, but at least I have something that expresses my general process and what the Labyrinth Means. Feel free to have a look at Sandia Labyrinth Process. Don't forget to have a look at the Flash animation link at the bottom of the second page.

July 1, 2007 Moving back to the Bay Area

For those that aren't aware, it looks like we're going to be moving back to the San Francisco Bay Area soon. We've loved New Mexico, but some great job leads are pulling us back. Out time has been like a sabbatical, though, giving us time to work on our art. The Labyrinth is finally finshed now that Solstice is here again. I hope to be posting a full story of the Sandia Labyrinth. But until then, you can view it's progression here: Sandia Labyrinth

October 15, 2006 Have you seen my labyrinth?

Well, the website pretty much looks the same as it did back in February, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. I've been working on several large Earth Works in the desert near our house. In fact, a few days ago while I was out there, I got to see three of hot air balloons go right over the labyrinth I've built out there. I hastily spelled out sonofpan.com in rocks near the labyrinth so if anyone out there got to take some snaps of it from up above, I'd be eternally grateful for a copy of them.

"But what labyrinth are you talking about?" you may ask. Let me give you a couple of pictures here and here. I'll try to put together a more comprehensive view over the next week or so - one that shows the evolution of the labyrinth from when I start until completion. Again - if there is anyone out there that got some pictures from up above - I'd love to see them: soren@sonofpan.com

February 2, 2006 Where the Holy Hell have we been?!?!

Let's see - June 2, 2004 to Feb. 2, 2006... Yes, yes, we've been uber remiss in keeping things updated. Well - In the last 18 months or so, we have shifted our focus and moved the whole studio (and ourselves) from the San Fran Bay Area, to Sunny Albuquerque/Rio Rancho, New Mexico! So we can at least claim being busy for the move and subsequent unpacking/settling in for six of those months.

Rob is committed to completely re-vamping the whole site, so I won't go through and mark the items that sold during Open Studios. But just so everyone knows - we're expanding our definition of the studio and hope to have enough of that shift underway soon to be able to reflet the new direction on the site within the next couple of months. I'll try to keep this page updated as things change until the day when we relaunch! - Soren

June 2, 2004Open Studios THIS WEEKEND!

We have been incredibly busy over the last two months and now we're almost done!  Please have a look at our most recent work, marked with the icon on the Sculpture Page, the Ceramics Page and the Altars of the Sacred Masculine Page.  There are about 40 new pieces so browse them all!  Also - I've added a page with information about some of Rob's work that we've made into prints on the Prints Page.  Pricing on almost all the work has been finished, and the majority of the work will be priced under $100.00.  So if you're interested in purchasing a piece, we recommend you come earlier rather than later.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
